Meet Kshitij Makkar

Kshitij Makkar is the Founder of Tax Mode, created with one clear mission: to help Australians take control of their money, reduce tax legally, and build real long-term wealth.

Originally from India, Kshitij moved to Australia with ambition, discipline, and a vision to build something meaningful. After completing a Bachelor of Commerce, he went on to earn his Master of Management from La Trobe University, and has since spent over a decade working across the legal and financial services sector.

Kshitij is a Registered Tax Agent, a full member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ), and holds a Certificate of Public Practice (CPP) — credentials that reflect both expertise and a commitment to the highest professional standards.

With a strong focus on individuals, investors, and growing small businesses, Kshitij founded Tax Mode to deliver accounting that goes beyond tax returns. His approach is proactive, strategic, and built around helping clients make smarter financial decisions — not just at tax time, but all year round.
